(綜合報道)(星島日報報道)數以萬計群眾周日響應反對派領袖兼前副首相素貼號召，於首都曼谷市中心遊行示威，導致交通癱瘓。看守首相英祿位於曼谷郊區的住所外，大清早便有過千人聚集，包括數百名人妖。但英祿當天前赴泰國東北部，她在火車上用iPad觀看住所附近畫面，要求媒體告知示威者「自己不在家」。

　　反政府集會領袖素貼上周六期望周日遊行人數多達二百萬人，向英祿及政府施加更沉重壓力，逼她立即下台。但當局稱，至昨日下午，遊行人數估計約為十萬人。

　　示威者兵分幾路，分別在曼谷勝利紀念碑、隆披尼公園等五個標誌性地點，搭建大型集會舞台，號召民眾加入。在素貼率領下，群眾經過市中心商業區，市中心一帶街道擠得水泄不通。數以萬計示威群眾高喊「英祿，下台！」口號。素貼表示這次示威於黃昏六時結束，但他呼籲示威者可自行決定是否留下，抑或進行無限期集會繼續抗爭。

　　上千名示威者來到英祿位於曼谷郊區的住所外集會，要求英祿辭職，同時要求大選延期舉行，首先實現國家全面改革。按照集會組織者要求，在英祿住所附近集會的大部分為女性。而滑稽的是，幾百名盛裝打扮的泰國人妖也加入集會隊伍。

　　當天警方派出約一千名警察，在英祿住所附近維持秩序。示威者下午突破住所附近的兩道防，到達住所大門前，最後一道防全部由女警組成。

　　英祿住所大門緊閉。她上午從東北部烏東他尼府乘火車赴廊開府，視察一些投資項目，多名看守政府部長與她同行。在「紅衫軍」大本營的東北部地區，氣氛與曼谷截然不同，英祿受支持者熱烈歡迎。

　　早前反對黨民主黨宣布杯葛明年二月二日大選，英祿表示大選會如期舉行。泰國國防部發言人說，只要接到要求，軍方會作好準備支持選舉委員會，確保大選順利進行。不過，有消息人士透露，一名軍方人士私底下對英國廣播公司（BBC）記者說，軍方希望二月的大選，最好還是押後舉行。
