(綜合報道)(星島日報報道)數以萬計群眾周日響應反對派領袖兼前副首相素貼號召,於首都曼谷市中心遊行示威,導致交通癱瘓。看守首相英祿位於曼谷郊區的住所外,大清早便有過千人聚集,包括數百名人妖。但英祿當天前赴泰國東北部,她在火車上用iPad觀看住所附近畫面,要求媒體告知示威者「自己不在家」。

  反政府集會領袖素貼上周六期望周日遊行人數多達二百萬人,向英祿及政府施加更沉重壓力,逼她立即下台。但當局稱,至昨日下午,遊行人數估計約為十萬人。

  示威者兵分幾路,分別在曼谷勝利紀念碑、隆披尼公園等五個標誌性地點,搭建大型集會舞台,號召民眾加入。在素貼率領下,群眾經過市中心商業區,市中心一帶街道擠得水泄不通。數以萬計示威群眾高喊「英祿,下台!」口號。素貼表示這次示威於黃昏六時結束,但他呼籲示威者可自行決定是否留下,抑或進行無限期集會繼續抗爭。

  上千名示威者來到英祿位於曼谷郊區的住所外集會,要求英祿辭職,同時要求大選延期舉行,首先實現國家全面改革。按照集會組織者要求,在英祿住所附近集會的大部分為女性。而滑稽的是,幾百名盛裝打扮的泰國人妖也加入集會隊伍。

  當天警方派出約一千名警察,在英祿住所附近維持秩序。示威者下午突破住所附近的兩道防,到達住所大門前,最後一道防全部由女警組成。
