双节巴士在行驶中起火燃烧　无人受伤

　　一辆61号的SMRT双节巴士昨晚在行驶时突然起火燃烧，车上30名乘客慌忙逃生，巴士在汹汹大火中烧剩骨架。

　　这起火患发生在昨天晚上10时50分，地点在循环路，靠近第79座熟食中心的路段。

　　40岁的目击者古纳当时正在事发路段对面的组屋，他听见犹如爆竹的声响，于是探头查看，只见一辆双节巴士的尾端冒出火花，过后就看见许多乘客慌忙逃出巴士，更有人边跑边尖叫。

　　古纳受访说，所有乘客刚逃下车，火势就突然变大，整辆巴士瞬间燃烧起来。

　　民防人员接获通知后赶到现场把大火扑灭，整辆巴士只烧剩铁架，尤其车尾被烧得毁不成形，现场弥漫浓浓的烧焦味。

　　民防部队发言人说，没有人在这起事故中受伤，起火原因有待进一步调查。

Says passengers panicked and fled a burning SMRT number 61 bus @ Circuit Road as it burnt in to huge flame and burnt until only a metal frame was left of it afterwards.

Damn 1st World! Malaysian buses also not so Hor-LEE-Ber!

This is not the first time a SMRT bus caught fire while on route. Something must be seriously wrong with the maintenance or the parts they use.
