Haha, we checked Aussies for drugs and they checked Sporeans for drugs. We find them, we hang them. They find Asian smugglers, they feed them potatoes for the next 20 years.

But Australians are funny. We caught their drug runner Nguyen Tuong Van, and hanged him at Changi. Australian PM John Howard said the execution would harm links between the people of Australia and Singapore. Australian Attorney-General Philip Ruddock condemned the execution as "barbaric".

Or is it a case of it's alright if the drug smugglers are Australians, but not alright if they are Asian?

Bottom line : Australia should accept more drug smuggling immigrants into their country.
