劉業成重返警隊任副處長（特別職務）。
【本報訊】已退休的前警務處副處長（行動）劉業成重返警隊，將以合約形式出任副處長（特別職務），令警隊「破天荒」同時有三名在職的副處長。據了解，劉今日會在灣仔警察總部與同袍會面，有傳警隊物色他回巢的主要職責，是負責處理近期《逃犯條例》修訂觸發的連串示威衝突。
警破天荒同時擁三副處長
劉業成去年十一月開始退休前休假，時任高級助理警務處長鄧炳強則獲委任於同月廿四日起，出任副處長（行動）一職至今。劉業成退任副處長一職至今已有近九個月，他重返警隊後，警隊同時有三個副處長，包括劉、副處長（行動）鄧炳強及副處長（管理）郭蔭庶。
消息人士指，劉重返警隊後，有傳警隊內部會設立一個臨時性的部門，以專責處理反修例引伸出的連串示威及警民衝突，而該個部門就是由劉掌管。
另外，為紓緩現階段警隊內部人手壓力，有傳警隊正物色退休在即或正在退休前休假的同袍延任，以應付未知持續至何時的示威衝突。

[Sing Tao Daily News] There is an online post saying that domestic people have secretly joined the Hong Kong Police Force for reinforcement. The Police Department spokesman stressed that there is absolutely no such thing and that the allegations are all fabricated. The spokesman stressed that rumors can only lead to social chaos and disputes. The Hong Kong Police Force is a permanent resident of Hong Kong and only obeys the Director of the Hong Kong Police Force.

[Reporter] The former Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operation), Liu Yicheng, returned to the Police Force and will be appointed as the Deputy Director (Special Duty) by contract. The Police Force will be "out of the box" and there will be three deputy directors in service. It is understood that Liu will meet with his robes at the Wan Chai Police Headquarters today. The main task of the police team to look for his return to the nest is to handle the series of demonstrations triggered by the recent amendments to the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance.
The police broke the ground and accompanied the three deputy directors
Liu Yecheng began his retirement before November last year. The then Senior Assistant Police Commissioner, Deng Bingqiang, was appointed to serve as Deputy Director (Action) since the 4th of the same month. Liu Yecheng has retired as the deputy director for nearly nine months. After he returned to the police force, the police also had three deputy directors, including Liu, deputy director (action) Deng Bingqiang and deputy director (management) Guo Yinxi.
According to sources, after Liu returned to the police force, there will be a temporary department within the police force to deal with the series of demonstrations and police conflicts caused by the anti-revision. The department is under the control of Liu.
In addition, in order to alleviate the pressure on the internal police force at the present stage, the police team is looking for a retired retire to retire immediately or before retirement to cope with the unknown conflict.
