14th February 2025 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong singer and actor Alex Fong, 44, announced his marriage to long-time partner Maple Yip on Valentine’s Day. Sharing the news on social media, Fong posted two photographs, including one showing the couple’s backs turned in a tender moment, with the caption: “We got married here. Wishing everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day. #itsawonderfonglife.” The wedding is believed to have taken place in Santa Monica, California, based on the images shared on his official Instagram account.

Fong and Yip, 30, publicly confirmed their relationship in 2023, despite a 14-year age gap. Yip, a former victim of the South Korean cult led by Jung Myung-seok, gained recognition for her bravery in exposing the cult leader’s crimes in the Netflix documentary In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal.
