Found Beng Hiangin recent months & went there to try the food, this is not "tin heong' that I use to know of, this restaurant does have SOME HOKKIEN dishes, but the food there basically Cantonese. If you read their history on the wall, they moved from another place to here & now Jurong Gateway. They may have incorporated ' tin heong'; it was an authentic Hokkien Restaurant, for many years, their signature dish was " kong pak"....It was a cosy little restaurant, cramp, but the dishes was good...their dessert was usually Almond, tau huay with longan or "or nee".
One of the reason, me & my colleagues ( we were working around there), usually go there for lunch, ten to a table, usually when we have some sort of quiet celebration & the luck of that restaurant was good. After paying the bill, we will buy the receipt number & we will strike 4D, many times & we will go back to eat & it gets repeated, very often.... ha ha ha ha
