【星島日報報道】黑衣人昨日在多區聚集，並有人在場縱火及破壞店舖及公共設施，引起多場警民衝突。
警方表示，昨日晚上約10時起，大批示威者在未有按法例要求通知警方的情況下，於銅鑼灣一帶聚集。示威者及後響應網上呼籲經勿地臣街、軒尼詩道向中環蘭桂芳方向進行示威遊行，鼓吹參與者阻塞蘭桂芳一帶的正常商業活動，破壞社會安寧。遊行期間參與人士亦沿途高叫口號及佔用行人路，對公眾市民造成不便。當遊行人士準備進入中區一帶並向蘭桂芳方向進發，警方採取行動，於皇后大道東及正義道一帶拘捕58名男子及47名女子，年齡介乎13至58歲，涉嫌參與未經批准的集結。人員並於其中一名23歲男子身上檢獲一支鐳射筆，他亦涉嫌藏有攻擊性武器被捕。案件交由港島總區重案組跟進。
警方又指，昨日晚上約9時，人員巡經尖沙咀廣東道及梳士巴利道交界時，截查一名可疑男子，該名男子拒絕合作及出示身份證明文件，並高聲呼叫。人員遂將他拘捕，並於他身上檢獲一把約19厘米長的刀。該名39歲男姓施男子涉嫌公眾地方行為不檢、阻礙警務人員執行職務及藏有攻擊性武器被捕，現正被扣留調查。案件交由油尖警區刑事調查隊第二隊跟進。

[Sing Tao Daily News] People in black gathered in multiple districts yesterday. Some people set fire to the scene and damaged shops and public facilities, causing many police and civilian clashes.
Police said that from about 10 pm yesterday, a large number of protesters had gathered in Causeway Bay without notifying the police as required by law. Demonstrators later responded to online calls for demonstrations on Matheson Street and Hennessy Road towards Lan Kwai Fong in Central, advocating participants to block normal business activities around Lan Kwai Fong and disrupt social peace. During the procession, participants also chanted slogans and occupied sidewalks along the way, causing inconvenience to the public. When the marchers were about to enter the Central District and head towards Lan Kwai Fong, the police took action and arrested 58 men and 47 women, aged 13 to 58, on Queen's Road East and Justice Road. Assembly. Officers also seized a laser pointer on one of the 23-year-old men. He was also arrested for possession of offensive weapons. The case was referred to the Regional Crime Unit of Hong Kong Island for follow-up.
Police also pointed out that at about 9 pm yesterday, officers traversed the junction of Canton Road and Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui and intercepted a suspicious man who refused to cooperate and produced identification documents and called out loud. Officers then arrested him and seized a knife about 19 cm long on him. The 39-year-old male surnamed Shi was arrested for suspected misconduct in public places, impeding police officers from performing his duties and possessing offensive weapons. He is being detained for investigation. The case was followed up by the Second Team of the Yau Tsim District Criminal Investigation Team.

Around 7.30pm, riot police fired several pepperballs on Portland Street opposite Langham Place to disperse the crowds, subdued many people, and sprayed pepper spray. Media including the photojournalist and other reporters were also arrested. During the shooting, some reporters needed volunteer first aid to help clean their eyes.
The riot police began to raise blue and black flags on a section of Portland Street opposite Langham Place, Mong Kok, in the evening. The crowd did not disperse. The riot police took action at around 7.30 pm. The riot police proceeded towards Langham Place from the junction of Argyle Street and Portland Street. At least 2 men were subdued outside a cosmetics shop door opposite Langham Place, and two of them were tied backhanded by lanyards.
During the operation, the riot police repeatedly expelled the onlookers and asked the people to go home instead of staying on the road. A group of citizens retreated to the main entrance of Langham Place and continued to scold each other with police officers.

防暴警察晚上大約7時半左右，在朗豪坊對出的砵蘭街，發射多枚胡椒球彈驅散聚集的人群，並制服多人，又噴胡椒噴霧，包括本台攝影記者等傳媒亦被射中，有記者需要義務急救員協助清洗眼睛。
防暴警察由傍晚開始，在旺角朗豪坊對出的一段砵蘭街，多次舉起藍旗和黑旗警告，人群未有散去，防暴警在晚上7時半左右採取行動，數十名防暴警察由亞皆老街和砵蘭街交界，向朗豪坊方向推進，在朗豪坊對面一間化妝品店門外，至少制服2名男子，2人雙手被反手綁上索帶。
行動期間，防暴警察多次驅趕圍觀人群，又要求在場人士回家，不要在路上逗留，一批市民退到朗豪坊正門，與警員繼續互相指罵。
