今日(5日)下午3時許，一名男子駕駛白色私家車，沿太子道東往觀塘方向行駛，至彩虹邨金碧樓對開，突遭尾隨2輛銀色私家車猛撞，白色車180度打「白鴿轉」後橫亘快線路面。適時，2車跳下8名戴上口罩的刀手，衝向白色車朝車身猛劈並追斬司機，得手後分別乘坐其中一輛私家車及拔足逃去。
警方接報趕至，立即封鎖現場，並在現場一帶展開圍捕。受事件影響，運輸署宣布太子道東往觀塘方向近彩虹邨的部分行車線封閉。駕駛人士只可使用餘下行車線行車，現時上址交通擠塞。

【星島日報報道】太子道東下午3時發生斬人案，一輛白色私家車遭2輛銀色私家車猛撞，後車7至8名刀手落車，向白色車車身狂斬並追斬司機。兇徒分別乘坐其中一輛私家車逃去。警方接報到場，正追緝兇徒。據悉，案件涉及黑幫「新X安」派系尋仇
遇襲私家車司機手部受傷，由救護車送伊利沙伯醫院治理。另外一名男子送往聯合醫院，警方將案件暫列作傷人案處理。警方在現場搜獲一把相信涉案利刀。另外兩名遇襲未有受傷的男子， 在警車上協助警方調查。
在Facebook群組馬路的事討論區，有途徑司機拍攝片段，見到刀手戴鴨舌帽、口罩、戴手套，手持武器，向私家車追斬。有途人叫兇徒停手，兇徒都無理會繼續追斬。
警方下午5時在在協調道近啟德變電站，尋獲另一輛相信接載刀手的私家車，而涉案車輛套用RN字頭假牌，兩邊車頭呔爆破。據發現涉案車輛的地盤工稱，事發時聽到巨響，懷疑是爆呔發出的聲音，其後見到3名南亞裔男子跳落車，沿協調道往土瓜灣方向逃跑。據稱車上仍留有武器，包括刀及水喉通。
運輸署宣布，因交通意外，太子道東往觀塘方向近彩虹邨的部份行車線現已封閉。 駕駛人士只可使用餘下行車線行車。 現時上址交通擠塞。

At about 3 pm today (5th), a man was driving a white private car and travelling along Prince Edward Road heading towards Kwun Tong. It was opposite the Jin Po House in Rainbow Village. It was suddenly slammed by two silver private cars. The white car was 180 degrees. After playing "White Dove", the line is fast. At the right time, the 2 cars jumped out of the 8 knives wearing masks, rushed to the white car and smashed the car toward the body and chased the driver. After winning, they took one of the private cars and fled to escape.
