今日(20日)尖沙咀再成戰場，雖然網上有呼籲勿以清真寺作攻擊對象，可是，由於部分示威者下午以雜物堵路及向尖沙咀警署投擲汽油彈，警方約4時出動水炮車驅散示威者時，清真寺最終也「中招」。
事緣水炮車在尖沙咀彌敦道邊行邊噴藍色水劑作驅散時，除示威者外，站於清真寺門外的市民及傳媒亦被染藍。同時，現場所見，清真寺閘門後樓梯及扶手上亦被染上藍色水劑，寺外更是遍地藍水。之後，數十人自發於清真寺外協助清洗閘門上染色劑，部分人身穿黑衣及戴口罩。
當時在現場的立法會議員譚文豪稱，他自己、印度協會前主席及多位市民在清真寺外被水炮車射中，正前往醫院驗傷。

【星島日報報道】警方今午在彌敦道驅散示威者期間，水炮車發射藍色液體，射中清真寺大門。油尖警區指揮官何潤勝總警司以及公共關係科高級警司余鎧均等，晚上到清真寺，有警員帶同水桶到場，進入寺內逗留約40分鐘，期間有警員清潔扶手，至晚上10時19分離開清真寺，並沒有回答記者提問。
