【星島日報報道】貪心「的哥」拾巨款惹官非。一名找換店女東主，前晚在元朗電召的士返家，落車時忘取回內有一百一十萬元現金的環保袋，有人拾得欲據為己有，警方接報追查及尋回的士，但司機否認拾獲巨款，更訛稱被其他乘客取走，警方憑「天眼」追蹤，證實有人謊話連篇，將涉案「的哥」拘捕，並在其流浮山祖居起回失款。
涉案男子鄧X發（五十七歲），有刑事毀壞案底，任夜更的士司機。鄧為流浮山下白泥原居民，在村內有祖屋，本身住元朗橋頭圍村。
失款女事主姓林（五十九歲），在元朗福德街開設找換店，每日收鋪後會攜巨款返回屯門青龍頭寓所。前晚七時許，林婦如常收鋪，並透過的士台電召一輛新界的士接載返家。
但她返抵家門，才發覺下車時忘取回一個黑色環保袋，內有一百一十萬元現金，全部為一千及五百元面額。林婦即時透過的士台，聯絡曾接載的姓鄧司機，但鄧否認檢獲巨款，女事主不知所措，至昨凌晨報警。
屯門警區重案組接手調查，昨午一時尋獲姓鄧「的哥」查問，但有人指女事主下車後，曾接載多名乘客到其他地方，更指款項可能被其他乘客取走。但探員對其口供感到可疑，曾根據鄧提供的多個落客地點，翻看附近「天眼」追查，但發現涉事的士未有出現，經探員嚴詞盤詰下，有人終承認一時貪心，將巨款收起欲據為己有，其後更帶同探員到其下白泥的祖屋，起回該個環保袋，內里一百一十萬元現金原封未動，警方遂以盜竊及誤導警務人員兩項罪名，將涉案司機拘捕通宵扣查。
