的士總會號召司機會員參與的士巡遊慶祝國慶，車隊早上在青衣9號貨櫃碼頭迴旋處集合，經三號幹線往西隧過海，沿中環灣仔繞道、東區走廊，經東隧折返九龍，最後以協調道為終點。
的總向參與司機分發國旗，掛在車尾，又貼上「愛國愛港愛家園」標語，出發前參與人士手持國旗合照及唱國歌，的總稱有2千輛的士參與，又強調會員是自發參加。

的士司機從業員總會，於今日十‧一發起遊行。今早(1日)7時許，約1000輛市區的士，在青衣貨櫃碼頭迴旋處一帶集合，的士掛上五星旗。在場人士揮動五星旗及播放國歌後，開車前往西環，期間秩序良好。有參與遊行的司機表示，希望社會早日安寧。

The Taxi Drivers Practitioners Association launched a march today at 11.1. At about 7 o'clock this morning (1st), about 1000 urban taxis were gathered at the roundabout of Tsing Yi Container Terminal. The taxis were hoisted with five-star flags. After the people waved the five-star flag and played the national anthem, they drove to the West Ring during a good period.
