【星島日報報道】仁警勇救窒息垂死女嬰！一名患有罕見呼吸病女嬰，與父母乘的士期間，突然呼吸停頓，面嘴變白垂危，司機見警車停在路邊立即呼救，警長連忙指揮交通，讓深諳急救的警員，在安全情況下為女嬰急救，幸在兩分鐘生死關鍵時刻，通過心肺復甦法和吸吮嘴鼻異物「奇招」，成功把她從「鬼門關」救回，女嬰回復呼吸睜開雙眼，父母欣慰不已。兩名仁警接受本報專訪，表示對女嬰獲救感到安慰，謙稱救人是警察天職。
窒息垂危女嬰獲仁警救回一命。一名患有罕見慢性呼吸疾病「阻塞性細支氣管炎」的九個月大范姓女嬰，早前因嚴重肺炎在沙田威爾斯親王醫院留院多時，至上月二十六日約下午五時出院，由父母抱回家，一起乘坐的士，途至大老山隧道，女嬰突然窒息，姓蘇的士司機見狀，連忙驅車駛出隧道，打算前往觀塘聯合醫院，當途經龍翔道與龍池徑交界位置，發現路旁停泊一輛警車，立即停車求救，仁警救嬰好人好事隨即發生。
救人的黃大仙警區交通隊第二隊警長陳國輝與高級警員黃源偉，日前接受本報訪問，並重返救人地點講解事發經過。陳表示，當時在現場進行日常交通管制，其間一輛的士突然煞車，停在警車後方，司機下車指車上嬰兒失去呼吸和脈搏，陳基於車輛位處快速公路，現場交通繁忙，擔心在場施救會有危險，遂即指揮交通，維持現場秩序，讓有救人經驗的同袍黃源偉施救。
由於女嬰已停止呼吸兩分鐘，臉部發白，嘴唇發紫，性命垂危，黃源偉說搶救刻不容緩，於是讓坐於的士左邊後座位的女嬰父親，雙手抱着女嬰頭和背部，並以大腿作為承托，黃則打開車門，彎腰探頭車廂，施展「救命三招」，首先是暢通氣道，即是一手按女嬰額頭，一手以兩隻手指托下巴，再將兩指掃向俗稱「雞心」的膻中穴，繼而進行心肺復甦，方法是將口部緊貼女嬰嘴和鼻，緩緩吹氣兩下提供氧氣，再以兩根手指快速按壓膻中穴三十下，「做完一次，BB無反應，之後重複吹氣、按壓，又無反應，再繼續做，一樣無反應，但我無打算放棄！」
進行第四輪急救之際，黃說聽到女嬰喉嚨發出微弱作嘔聲響，相信有異物阻礙呼吸，於是施展最後絕招，張嘴緊貼女嬰口和鼻，以較大力度吸氣，硬生生將奶狀液體吸吮出來，此時發現其眼睫毛顫動，反映回復生命氣息，隨即將其扶起，呈九十度躹躬姿勢，為其拍背「掃風」，其間不斷說「唔好瞓覺，快啲起身」，之後更用力扭耳朵，此刻女嬰終於甦醒，緩緩睜開小眼睛，而且很乖，「沒有哭泣！」
在瀕死關鍵兩分鐘獲救後，黃說女嬰被送往聯合醫院深切治療部留醫，其後多番致電其父親了解康復情況，近日獲悉女嬰已經出院，感到十分欣慰，但強調救人是警察職責，不用言謝。
