在不断接近色彩终极的同时，激光电视在形态上也朝着终极迈进了一大步。北京时间1月7日凌晨，CES 2020开幕前，海信在美国拉斯维加斯正式发布全球首台卷曲屏幕激光电视。
发布会上，海信激光显示公司首席科学家刘显荣表示，电视在家庭中的理想形态是与整个家居融为一体，在需要时出现，而卷曲屏幕激光电视恰好做到了这一点。
可以看到，海信这款卷曲屏幕激光电视在外观上非常特别，采用一体化设计，70吋屏幕在观看时徐徐升起，平时则会收纳进酷似于电视柜外观的机身内，真正做到了需要时才出现，与整个家居环境融为一体。
据了解，卷曲屏幕激光电视采用了最新开发的高性能卷曲屏幕，在保持光学性能不变下实现了良好的卷曲，完全达到电视亮度的规格要求。
在“大屏即正义”的时代，占用更小的空间获得更大的屏幕是所有显示企业的追求。手机厂商不断尝试折叠屏、环绕屏等形态。而在动辄65吋70吋的电视领域，同样的事显得更难。
刘显荣介绍，由于激光电视的屏幕本身并不发光，因此卷曲屏幕技术相比于其他屏幕更加可行，品质也更为可靠。尤其是在激光电视所定位的大尺寸电视领域，激光电视将率先实现成熟的卷曲技术。
全球首台卷曲屏幕的诞生也给激光电视带来更多的可能性，未来激光电视的形态将变得更为多样，不断突破人类的视觉和想象。
