Switzerland to hold national referendum a month later on 18th May to vote for min. wage of 22Sfr (swiss franc) an hour = S$31

90% of swiss labour force are already earning 22 Sfr.

When there are no poor people, it is good for the economy. The less well-off spend most of their income, which means higher demand for goods and service. Business may not like to see their profit fall but will continue to operate as long as they are making profits. Raise in minimum wage is merely a transfer of profits to be income.
