The project is indeed a "game changer" for both Malaysia and Singapore. There are a lot of opportunities for both countries with the HSR linking KL and Singapore. Of course, for this scale and complexity of this project, it will necessarily involve a certain amount of intricacies and engagement between the 2 countries in order to work out the details of the execution.

But I see that there are a lot of mutual benefits for both countries with the HSR. As long as there is a political will on both sides to see through the project, it will happen.

Spot on. It is unlikely to take off as Najib's Government has no freaking budget to do it.

They can give it to private firms to do it. But land acquisition from Private Landowners will be expensive if a Private firm does it acquisition.
