Cases of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD)
have reached an epidemic level in Singapore.
Last week, the number of cases hit 706.
In March this year, the figures crossed the epidemic level too.
The Ministry of Health said the two seasonal peaks
are usually between March and May, as well as between
October and November. It believes the current situation
is part of the seasonal trend.
No severe case of HFMD has been
reported so far this year.

I don't understand why we have outbreaks of HFMD now? 20 years ago, there was not many cases at all. Where the hell is it coming from and what has the MOH done about it?

Pleased be patient and wait for further instructions. So what if the HFMD is epidemic ? Who dares to do something and steal the thumder from the boss (more like risk their titinium ricebowl in case did something wrong) ?

No you be surprise it does attack adults too.

Adults get ulcers inside their mouths . Less on their skins .
