Heroic uncles apprehend man who tries to rob Haig Rd mini-mart
STOMPer Vasilli witnessed a few members of the public apprehend a young man who was about to rob a mini-mart in Haig Road.
The STOMPer said in his email:
"It was 11am and I was about to buy breakfast when I saw this.
"Apparently, there was a man, a Singaporean, tried robbing Cheers outlet 4D booth at Blk 12.
"He was however apprehended by staff and members of public.
"Police were then called but some heroic uncles placed him under citizens' arrest."
