'First time in my life': Restaurant owner surprised after family charged $2 for $200 lobsters return to pay balance​

A pair of sisters returned to the restaurant the day after their meal to inform them that they had been undercharged.

Mistakenly undercharged $198 for a lobster dish at a Siglap eatery, a family returned the next day to pay the correct amount.

In a heartwarming Facebook post on Thursday (Feb 19), the owner of Cheng Ji Seafood Restaurant thanked the diners for their honesty.

Owner Dai Xingying (transliteration) told Shin Min Daily News that she had wrongly keyed in the price of two small Australian lobsters as $2 instead of $200 when calculating the bill for the family of four.

The error went unnoticed due to the bustling Chinese New Year (CNY) crowd, and Dai did not find any discrepancies when recording their sales at the end of the day.

To her surprise, two teenagers from the family returned on Thursday night to inform her that they had been undercharged.

The restaurant owner had mistakenly charged the family $2 instead of $200 for a lobster dish on Feb 18.

The newly formed Sikhs in Punjab were about 300 years ago attacked by the Afghan armies on many occassions but at the end the Sikhs were able to defeat the resilient Afghans and this changed the course of history of the entire Indian subcontinet which also led to a stop of all land invasions from the marauding Muslim armies from the North West of India.

The USA, British and the Russians armies invaded Afghanistan but all ran away with tails between their legs.
The only people who have ever defeated the Afghans were the Sikhs. These foreign invaders should have just asked the Sikh Regiment to fight their war in Afghanistan.
