Herbal Chicken Soup recipe

... Look for these important herbs: Huaishan, BeiQi, DangShen, YuZhu, Wolfberries and Danggui...

Some herbs pictures

This is Danggui, which makes this soup so tasty.....

beiqi 补气,danggui 补血,dangshen 提神,huaishan 补脾,yuzhu 润肺, wolf berries 明目。
if using red dates, remember to remove the seeds before adding the red dates to cook.
wolf berries can be left as the last item to enter the pot :):):)

From what I understand, Danggui is more for women to revitalize their blood system after menstruation. Although men use it as a muscle building blood tonic ... too much of it can have side-effect on the little guy down under. True ???

bro,
too much of anything is bad for us. small amount of danggui for the men is ok. go try 十全大补汤 or 十全鸭。bery the bery the tasty :):):)

prefer zup chuan arh to the soup. Dian Xiao Er at Changi T3 serves a mean herbal duck :):):)

Dian Xiao Er roast ducks with various herbs conned people 1, they just roast, cut and drizzle with herbs gravy. It should be marinated then roast lor.....

hehehe... 十全鸭。:):):)
ten complete duck la ...

Nabez...

Its hard to find a good herbal soup stall nowadays... I used to eat 1 at Sims Drive Hawker Centre ages ago, but after they renovated, not sure its the same stall.... I visit there in the morning, the stall not open yet, so Im not sure....

Any bros tried the soup stall at Lavender Food Court? Reasonably priced and quite tasteful. Quite popular with PRC gals after 3am. There is also another along Jalan Besar after the JB Tua Pow. In-between Maude and Syed Alwi roads.

I think they have a few stalls in various foodcourts also, I dun like it cox its oily and they basically just put everything inside and just boil the whole thing. Sometimes you gets overcooked bones, and unwanted parts...
