Heard Western Digital Singapore is closing down before end of this year

So sad, WD Singapore used to employ thousands and their products a big rival to Seagate. There goes another core manufacturing base.... hundreds, inclusive of employees and employees of suppliers down the supply chain are going to lose their jobs....:(

When the Singapore manufacturing is hollowed out, where then are the jobs coming from but driving taxis, cleaning jambans, jaga doors, peddle insurance products,....roaming the streets, picking up aluminium cans or paper boxes....:(:( Singaporeans are in for a hard time....whose fault???

Singaporeans' fault of course. They demand outlandish salaries but their low productivity does not match the pay that they expect.

Retrenched sinkies can also promote credit cards or sell charity to passers-by, these are the hot jobs nowadays. ;)

Should blame those who are still making millions. In the new reality the elites should shoulder most of the blame & not live on past laurels.

If sinkees are fearful for their jobs, they should channel their anxieties and insecurities towards the PAP.

datz wat papigs hv been saying but I dun see it happening........ on the contrary I see jobs stolen by f trashes forcing sgian to drive taxi and cleaning toilets.................... damn papig liars
