He slips from their grasp, and falls to his death

A man fell to his death on Monday, after climbing over the corridor wall on the seventh floor of a HDB block in Choa Chu Kang.

An elderly couple living on the floor had rushed to help him. The elderly woman, who wanted to be known only as Mrs Han, recalled in Mandarin: "My husband and I tried to hold onto him. But his hands were very sweaty and within seconds, he had slipped from us and plunged down."

Student Faye Lim, 13, was watching the tragedy unfold from the block opposite, and started snapping pictures on her mobile phone.

kudos to the elderly couple for at least trying to save that man.
