actually not true. almost all motivational speakers are conmen preying on people desires for shortcut to riches. psychologist would tell you 99% of all motivation speaker are crap and a total waste of time and money. you just feel good for a few days and then after that back to square one. it is nothing but psychological masturbation. hahhahahah

I only read one motivation book, "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. It was good enough and only cost me a few bucks. There is no need to pay thousands of dollars to attend motivational seminars or buy a dozen different motivation books by various authors. "Think and Grow Rich" is good enough. Most motivational authors and speakers get their content from that same book and reword it to avoid copyright claims.
