HDB urges Aljunied-Hougang Town Council to ‘resolve issues fully without further delay’ !!!!!!

SINGAPORE — Just a day after the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council (AHTC) said it has resolved all financial and governance lapses, the authorities said the Workers’ Party (WP)-run town council still has to settle some outstanding issues.

Responding to media queries on Friday (Feb 16), the Housing Development Board (HDB) said certain outstanding matters were deemed resolved by the town council’s auditors KPMG on the basis that “recommendations have been given to AHTC, or AHTC has informed KPMG of the intended follow-up actions”.

The black pot had been declared to be WHITE by a committee who says that the mother was 'white' though the dad was 'black', but lived in an environment that is 'white'. That is why they keep calling the 'kettle' black names.

I thought that the oppositions after 2 decades in running a ward, should have been smarter & cleverer in bringing the 'game' to the PAP. Should have rustle up resources to tackle the mess that the PAP threw at them....but they have allowed themselves to be 'painted into a corner'.

The oppositions should study all the PAP methods & deceit & play their games into the oppositions hand...after all so many decades already...they should be smart, nimble & quick & not be "FIXED"

They have billions in resources and all the best "brains "(aka scholars) to choose from and yet they cannot solve train problems-they should look at their own incompetence before pointing at others

So WP cadres were lying through their teeth when they said that they finally resolved their town council money issues?? I am just shocked that possible political pressure may had caused our authorities to apply a light touch on the oppies. If a PAP cadre was caught with such money issues like AHTC, they would have long ago been asked to step down. It is clear to all that PAP holds itself to much higher standards than WP.
