Not really true. Even if you are a good cook in a hawker centre, no one will want to pay a high price for such a 'cheapo' delicacy. It is about perception. Even if you are a useless doctor, you are still paid well and above a good technician or cook. The market eyes kana stamps lah. I still think it is still not a free market with an efficient pricing system.

With the govt interfering with pricing, what can you do ? A useless MP can be paid by so many folds ? Think about it.
