My doctor recommended me to do a colonscopy for prevention. I have done it once about 10 yrs ago. Doctor said it is due. He said is best for sinkie man to do it once every 5-10 yrs as intestine cancer rate is high for sinkie man.
I recalled the procedure was quite a pain in the arse . Have you done it ? Share your experience.

For me I recalled the night before the scope, have to drink gallons of liquid to expel out all shits, end up arsehole is passing liquid insread of stools. During the preparation, it was embarrassing to lay on semi doggie position in front of the OT staff, nurse etc. After scope the whole arsehole felt raw..eeks. I am still considering to do it again

Las time I did it in Alexandra hospital, I think was $400+ but can use medisave. now should be $500-600 bah unless you choose pte hosp I not sure.
before that just get a referral letter from gp doctor.

yes there is a cap. Have to come out bit of cash. few yrs back garment finally allows part of medisave to be used for colonscopy and some major dental treatment like crowning, root canal etc

mine every 5 years, now only take some substance early in the morning and quickly run to hospital and shit like shit for couple of hours before the procedure, normally I will have gastro done at the same time, by right you should not feel any uncomfort except for one time when I woke up nearing the end of the procedure
