Don't delay, hor. Last minute, if you are caught up in jam or whatever, you may be late and miss your chance.

TJS will need your vote and every single vote.

Now don't start bashing me, I've cast my vote for TT, and there's nothing to do with kiasi or supporting PAP. I vote according to the Constitution and the other three are either liars or dreamers. The President can't enact law in Parliament or introduce policy in Cabinet. Making such implied promises to the electorate is either intellectually dishonest or impaired.

Getting TT to look after the reserve is like getting their own kaki to look after themselves. Also, TT has not being truthful regarding his son's NS treatment so you are getting a liar to look after your money. Now who is the intellectually impaired?

How can suggesting a resilience package to weather the dark clouds ahead be in line with the constitution? There is obviously a conflict of interest. In this aspect I fully agree with TCB. In fact, Tony shouldn't even run in the first place since he has too close links to GIC.

If we say TJS is wrong to push for checks and balances because that is the job of the opposition in parliament, then likewise TT is wrong to say that his experience will help the government in managing the economy because that is the job of the cabinet.

Suggestion is different from check and balance. In an earlier posting I've already pointed, the President opens Parliament with an address. In that speech, the President can suggest any policy direction he deems appropriate to suggest. Of course an influence is exercised, but Parliament has to make up their own minds eventually through debating and voting. The President cannot check and balance Parliament since he cannot participate in parliamentary debating and voting. The results would then be forwarded to him to assent. He must assent. That's his job to represent assent for Singapore as whole, not his job to question or check and balance Parliament.

As for the reserves, he has a right to veto, that's all. For example, if the Government wants to spend $XX billion on converting Geylang into legalized integrated sex resort, he should veto. But if the Government wants to spend $XX billion on packages to help citizens, who in his right mind would veto? The only possibility is an anti-PAP President there for the sake of opposing PAP. He may claim that's vote buying and veto. Lose-lose for all.

Ha, Ha, Ha, TT was telling you that he can get a resilience package through since he is part of the Order notwithstanding that he may have already resign. His resignation part is just a technicality. Understand. Other candidate do not have that lobang. OK
