He passed the tea party in 2009 and was asked to go to the private sector (GLC of course) as the NTUC is meant to be for those who can't get a day job elsewhere. He is slated for 2nd rung leadership.

Looks like Low Thia Kiang and Sylvia are keeping things close to their chest as usual and the PAP despite its runners are unable to get a handle on the seats that is going to contested. .

Not likely LWH. If your guess turns out right, MIW really desperado. Great you spelt "Lock" correctly. many spell it as "Loke".

Why? LWH knew he would never be CP. Lots of skeletons. Chiong in Lido while Commissioner of ICA. Meimeis working illegally without valid WPs and yet sitting with the number one man in ICA? Linked to mamasan Mona Koh who attended his wedding in a wheelchair. Very close to billionaire Peter Lim. He was seconded to a ministry as Dy Sec and from there to somewhere in Capitaland. Was blue-eye boy of ex-CP. I suspect he knew he wouldn't be CP and no way for him to work under the current CP who is his junior. Both ACSians.

At this stage it doesn't look like he'll be standing. For all its pretenses of being an independent newspaper that needs to do its own sniffing around like everybody else, ST actually has good intel on the candidates PAP will put out. When it reports on civil service resignations for example, it so far has a 100% hit rate on which ex-servants will be standing and which ones are really leaving for the private sector permanently. Lock has not been reported about so far.

Also, I believe Lock is already in the private sector - if he were going to be fielded he'd be doing the grassroots a long time ago.

Maybe not this round but the next - watch out for Leo Yip and Aubeck Kam.
