let say you get some food and wanna fly home. you need to put everything through the custom x-ray.

if you got food in it like snack, spices. and if these food stuff go through the x-ray. Is it still safe to eat?

For the short time exposure, I don't think it will damage the food. I recently brought two kueh lapis cakes from Jakarta - no problem. Not an expert on the subject, but I think the radiation we're exposed to for long periods in from of the TV could possibly be worse, if at all.

Cheers!

Food is regularly subjected to irradiation you twit. 500,000 metric tons is treated annually.

It should be safe. MRI is worse, it's like holding on to a thousand handphones to your ear.
