~65–70% fast during Ramadan
-Hijab is optional, 40–50% of women wear hijab
-Hijab is compulsory in sinkieland except MOE schools and uniform units

So you have confirmed my observation. Not all Islamic countries/societies force their Muslim practitioners to wear the hijab or pray 5x a day or fast. Turkey is a good example. Even in Malaysia you see many artistes not wearing the hijab.

Hijab is not compulsory in Sinkieland. 3/4 of my Malay staff don't wear the tudung. They have not been arrested by MUIS yet.

A piece of advice: Don't let your hatred of Islams and Muslims blind you to the fact that different Islamic countries have different degrees of liberalism. Differences between Shia and Sunni. Even within Sunni there are different schools. Sinkieland and Matland mainly Shafi'i. Not every Muslim nation is run like the Taliban.

And not every Muslim is a terrorist. On a percentage basis, there's a greater proportion of Zionist or Basque terrorists than Muslim terrorists. Who killed Indira Ghandi? Rajiv Ghandi? Premadasa? Heard of Waco? Ben Gurion?

There's terrorism in every culture, every society. Some more, some less. Where there's more injustice, you see more terrorism.

Well, my staff who don't wear the tudung don't consider themselves kafir, nor do their family or friends or relatives call them kafir. They have not been ex-communicated from their community, as far as I know.

What kind of Muslim friends have you been mixing with, I wonder? Are you even a Sinkie? I find my Sinkie Malay friends much more easy going and less calculative than most of my Chinese or Indian friends, though I have very good friends from all three ethnicities.
