Russian PM Vladimir Putin Turns 59 On Friday
MOSCOW, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin who turns 59 on Friday, plans to return to the Kremlin for a new six-year term in 2012, Itar-Tass News Agency reports.
For this year's birthday, Putin did not plan for any major celebrations like before. In previous years, Putin marked his birthday in native St. Petersburg.
This year, he will remain in Russian capital to chair a meeting on problems of the military-defence complex.
His spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "The prime minister will definitely mark his birthday celebration with the his wife Lyudmila and two daughter - Maria and Katerina - in the evening, like any other normal family."
