Imagine you have no more relatives or friends to lim kopi with, since all of them are dead. Worse, as LKY, you have to tell and retell your hard truths to gens and gens of Party leaders and daft Sinkies, and all they ever tell you is to go fly kite or fook spider..how tiring can that all be!

I rather remember 16 September as MALAYSIA DAY. Forty-seven years ago, Sabah (North Borneo), Sarawak and Singapore joined Malaya to form the FEDERATION OF MALAYSIA. That was the day I converted from a British citizen singing God Save the Queen to a Malaysian citizen singing Negaraku as the national anthem. Malaysia Boleh!! I then bacame a Singapore citizen on 9 August 1965 when Singapore was booted out of Malaysia. All these happened through no fault of mine.
