Serious Halimah admits to campaigning the last few weeks.

"I have gone to almost all the unions to ask for support personally, and they have said they will support me."

The ST reported that her decision to contest "follows a busy few weeks where she has met unionists, community leaders and residents, typically attending AT LEAST ONE EVENT A DAY.

All this while coyly responding that she was "still considering" when she was already campaigning.

In the meantime, there are only the small matters of certifying the other Indian and a Pakistani candidates.

And of course, there is the small matter of the court case involving the Chinese who wants to run too.

The other candidates should bring this Halimah to task, for her wayang, on "have not made up her mind"...& then, embarked on a Campaign trail with the Trade Unions Here, galvanising support, before coming out to say..." I will stand for election"

Why does the worker's unions here.. & the workers in the unions , "OBLIGED" if they know " what is good for them" vote for her? for the PRESIDENT??...Does the rest of those candidates, have this privilege of "MAKING SURE" that the union members vote for them.

She & the PAP is making a mockery of the system, where is the transparency? & never mind the honesty?...It is already FIXED even before the polls started....she will the PRESIDENT..as if, we do not know.

Why bother, with an elected president, just for the "wayang"??? You Singaporeans, are really a stupid lot!

It means that all the members of the TRADE UNIONS in SINGAPORE, have to vote for Halimah as the President & no other candidate...in this case, the RC's, CC's, PAP members, PA members....that means 70-80% of Stinkerporeans....have already decided...why waste, people time, calling for an election ???

Might as well say...WE NAME HALIMAH...AS THE PRESIDENT OF SINGAPORE...& STOP INSULTING OUR INTELLIGENCE CALLING FOR AN ELECTION OF EP...
