6 kids down with H1N1. From 2 kindergarden in Pasir Ris.

At least six children from preschools in Pasir Ris have been infected with the H1N1 flu virus over the weekend.

Five cases were reported at Aces Montessori Kidz, apparently after attending a Children Day's Party, while another one was reported at Shalom Kindergarten.

Health Ministry investigates report of six preschoolers infected with H1N1 virus
By Lim Yi Han

The Health Ministry said it has been notified of at least six cases of pre-schoolers in Pasir Ris who have been reportedly infected with the H1N1 flu virus over the weekend.

The cases were reported at two kindergartens in Pasir Ris, according to reports.

When contacted, the ministry would only say it has been notified of the cases and is investigating. It declined to comment further.

The H1N1 strain of the influenza virus first emerged in Singapore in May 2009, and at least 30 people here have died from it. The virus is generally mild, but it can still be fatal in some cases.

Re: H1N1 struck SG babies

We have so many Ah Tiongs here ...they bring everything over to sinkapore. I am surprised that there is only 6 cases ...how many more have been covered up?

Re: H1N1 struck SG babies
