Man killed by bullet train after climbing onto tracks at Nanjing station

A man was killed after being struck by a train at Nanjing rail station in Jiangsu Province last Sunday.

The man crossed the tracks just as the train was approaching. The driver immediately stopped, but the man was left trapped between the train and the platform. A team of firefighters and doctors arrived at the scene immediately and tried to save the man.

Unfortunately, after two hours the man died from excessive bleeding.

According to local media, the man intended to cross over to another platform, so he jumped on the tracks, but the train pulled into the station before he could climb onto the opposite side.

If suicide underneath the train. Accident, stuck between platform and train. Basically crushed. But both causes delay to entire rail network. I assume one delay will cause a domino like effect as trains runs on one track each way.
