据美国哥伦比亚广播公司(CBS)当地时间9月27日报道,美国国家航空航天局(NASA)用最新的望远镜捕捉到了罕见的“宇宙大屠杀”:一个黑洞猛烈地撕碎了一颗和太阳差不多大小的恒星。

该现象是研究人员在今年1月捕捉到的,研究结果于9月26日发表在《天体物理学杂志》(The Astrophysical Journal)上。

NASA称,天文学家认为这个超大质量黑洞的质量约为太阳质量的600万倍,位于约3.75亿光年之外的星系,该星系与银河系大小相似。而被吞噬的行星则与太阳大小类似。

據說黑洞會吞噬行經路線上,所有的東西,不論是流星、行星,甚至恆星都難逃它的虎口,美國太空總署日前拍攝到罕見的「黑洞進食秀」。
每1萬到10萬年才發生一次的天文奇景,又被稱為「潮汐破壞事件」(tidal disruption event,TDE),竟然是因為天時地利人和的巧合,才被發現。美國太空總署的TESS衛星的鏡頭,剛好對準超級黑洞的方向,意外捕捉到黑洞開始撕裂恆星的那一刻。
透過動畫模擬恆星被撕裂過程中,拖出一條長長的橘紅色尾巴,亮度比太陽高出10倍。熾熱的火光其實是恆星的殘骸,部分殘骸呈現長條狀被拋出黑洞周遭的區域,剩餘的部分則呈現漩渦狀,圍繞在黑洞周圍,慢慢被吸進去。

There is very ultra strong gravity in black hole. When it pulls a star for example the edge of the star closest to the black hole will get a stronger pull than the edge furthest from the black hole. Hence different amount of gravity forces (drastically) and accelerated the star towards the black hole at different speed, the edge closer to black hole will fly towards it faster then the lagging edge hence the body shape of the star elongated from round to rod then from rod to the slim thin and long line and then into a broken line, the movement flies towards black hole, hence broken up all into smaller and smaller bits of dust.

The flight path also indicated that the gravity field is SPIRAL instead of straight because the bits flies spiral trajectory into black hole, something alike our washing basin drain water flow pattern.
