也许一名军人没有办法用语言表达出来，但是他会不遗余力地用自己所有的行为，去单纯地体现着他对祖国和人民的热爱。
大家好，我是新青年宋玺。现在是北京大学的一名硕士研究生，曾服役于中国人民解放军海军陆战队，并于2016年底作为编队唯一的女陆战队员，赴亚丁湾执行护航任务。
您可能会想，看起来娇小柔弱的我怎么会和身手不凡的陆战队员联系在一起？其实这些都要回溯到小的时候。我妈妈每年都会带我去保定看望当兵的爸爸，每天早上都要跟着战士们一起出早操。虽然现在记忆已经非常模糊了，但那种热血沸腾的感觉一直吸引着我。
每次看到部队集结，听到他们那种嘹亮的口号声时，我都会特别激动，甚至有种热泪盈眶的感觉。所以读大三的时候，我选择步入军营。下定决心要实现一直深藏在自己心里的梦想，去尝试着穿上军装，成为一名真正的军人。
2015年9月23日，我正式入伍，成为南海舰队某新训基地的一名新兵。中国人民解放军海军陆战队被誉为国家的“拳头”和“尖刀”，加入这支队伍是许多海军战士的梦想，我也不例外。
为了能够加入海军陆战队，每项训练我都不断给自己加码。比如说我跑步慢，个子又小，我就会专门跑到一区队，站在大个子中间，让他们带着我一起跑。做俯卧撑的时候，喊一下我就做两下。
我会在深夜里接着给自己加练小素质，也会在膝盖受伤的情况下，努力地在铁丝网下爬战术。我一步步地朝着我心目中陆战队员的标准，努力地迈进。
2016年底，我作为唯一的一名女陆战队员加入中国海军第25批护航编队，赴亚丁湾执行护航任务。记得那是在4月的一个傍晚，编队接到通报，有商船在附近海域遭海盗劫持，我们立即派出特战队员前往营救。
我在后方一直关注着前方的进展，虽然我们所有人都在平静地做着自己的工作，但大家的心都揪在一起。完全陌生的环境下，没有人知道子弹会从哪个方向射来，在前方的每一名战友都面临着丧命的危险，可是他们还是义无反顾地去了。
在我们焦急的等待中，终于在七个多小时后的凌晨，传来了他们圆满完成任务的消息——成功解救了19名人质。当从前方传回的视频里看到，被解救人质身披五星红旗，高喊“Thank you，China！”的时候，我真的是感慨万千。
现在的我们已经可以乘坐着军舰航行到万里之外，为维护世界和平做出一个负责任大国应有的贡献了。
在护航的行程中，还有一项很重要的任务，就是对沿途的国家进行军事访问。每次靠港，离港口还特别远的时候，我们就能听到岸边传来敲锣打鼓的声音，看到当地的华人华侨举着小红旗向我们致意。远远地看到这些场景，眼泪就会止不住地往下流。
印象最深的一次，应该是在马达加斯加。我们邀请当地华人上舰参观。一位年过七旬、满头白发的老华侨，用颤抖的双手抚摸着军舰，嘴里不住地念叨着：“太棒了！这是祖国的军舰，这是我们中国的军舰。”
他拉着我的手，满含热泪地说，看到祖国的海军这么强大，看到你们这么富有蓬勃朝气，我们在外拼搏的底气都强了不少。对于长期漂泊在外的华人来说，军舰承载着他们对祖国的思念，是他们魂牵梦绕想要见到的根。身为军人，唯有以一颗赤诚的心去锤炼自己，才对得起他们的信任。
退伍之后，偶然一次翻看朋友圈，看到以前连队的一位老班长发了一条朋友圈。那是一封信，是这位班长在几年前参加一次危险系数非常大的任务时，写给敬爱的党组织和自己亲人的一封“绝笔信”。时隔两年之后，他再一次提醒自己：不忘初心。
其实部队生活教会我最重要的一点，就是一条路，要坚定地脚踏实地慢慢地走。所以，我更希望自己能够抓紧现在的机会，努力地掌握知识，成为一个更加能够立得住的人，并用自己的专业技能在今后帮助更多人去成长。
有高远的理想永远是珍贵的，但能够脚踏实地地去接触社会，接触基层，确实更加可贵，也更加实在。
我选择用当兵这样一种方式，去看更大的我所向往的世界。其实每个人也有更多的选择，能够以自己喜欢的方式，适合自己的方式，去看到他们想要看到的世界。

主持人：你想过自己会成为一名军人吗？
宋玺：小学时候就想当兵。初中就有一个清晰的概念了：想当特种兵。到高中时，会看“007”系列电影。上了大学之后，那个念头先藏起来了，但是军营梦一直都在心里。
主持人：进入军营前，你是什么样的？
宋玺：那时候我对各种事物充满好奇，喜欢尝试。无论结果如何，都会非常开心。但同时，每天会被各种作业追着跑，自己又不那么积极。
主持人：走出军营后，有哪些改变？
宋玺：首先，可能是对事情的要求提高了，同时也提高了责任意识。以前不会意识到自己在一个群体里是什么样的角色，现在就会时刻想着自己应该去做什么，需要去做什么，变得更加勇敢。
主持人：怎么看待大家评价你“国系90后”？
宋玺：我觉得对每一个90后来说，只要心中怀有自己的国家，只要爱国，只要想为自己的国家做出一点贡献，只要有这样的责任感，其实每个人都是“国系”。
主持人：夏天40摄氏度高温，穿着长靴，全副服装是什么感觉？
宋玺：那是夏天海练的时候。我不是一个多么守规矩的人，会天马行空，所以就会经常挨罚。一开始心里想不通为什么要罚？后来读条例，慢慢意识到，这些规矩的作用，就是让整个集体更高效。军人以服从命令为天职，既然选择了当兵，首先就要学会守规矩。
主持人：从校园到军营又回到校园，对军装的理解有什么改变？
宋玺：穿着军装意味着你要承担一定的责任。军装给我带来的荣誉感和给其他人带来的安全感，都不是当兵之前的我想想就能得到的。而是要跟战友们一样，脚踏实地、刻苦训练，才能有这样的感觉。“我曾经是一名军人”，这个身份给你打下的烙印可能是伴随终身的。无论现在是学生也好，或者以后做别的事情也好，做任何事情都要对得起这份经历。
主持人：怎么理解“新青年”这三个字？
宋玺：我们处在一个新时代，可能每一名青年都有自己的新追求和新责任。这需要我们的热爱和坚持：热爱能够让你勇敢地选择想要选择的事业，但坚持才能把这个事业做好，才能证明你热爱它。

Hello everyone, I am the new young man Song Wei. Now a postgraduate student at Peking University, he served in the Marine Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. At the end of 2016, he was the only female marine player in the formation to go to the Gulf of Aden to perform escort missions.
You might think, how can I look at the petite and weak, how can I connect with the uncommon Marines? In fact, these must go back to a small time. Every year, my mother will take me to Baoding to see the father of the soldier. Every morning, I will follow the soldiers together for morning exercises. Although the memory is now very blurred, the feeling of boiling blood has always attracted me.
Every time I saw the assembly of the troops and heard the loud slogans of them, I was particularly excited and even had a feeling of tears. So when I was a junior, I chose to step into the military camp. Determined to realize the dream that has been deeply hidden in my heart, try to wear military uniform and become a real soldier.
On September 23, 2015, I officially joined the army and became a recruit for a new training base of the South China Sea Fleet. The Chinese People's Liberation Army Marine Corps is known as the country's "fist" and "point knife". Joining this team is the dream of many naval warriors, and I am no exception.
In order to be able to join the Marine Corps, I constantly add to myself for each training. For example, if I run slowly and I am small, I will run to a detachment and stand in the middle of a big man and let them run with me. When doing push-ups, call me and do it twice.
I will continue to give myself a small quality in the middle of the night, and I will try to climb the tactics under the barbed wire in the case of a knee injury. I step by step toward the standards of the Marines in my mind and work hard.
At the end of 2016, as the only female marine team member, I joined the 25th batch of escort formations of the Chinese Navy and went to the Gulf of Aden to carry out escort missions. I remember that it was in the evening of April. The formation received a notice that a merchant ship was hijacked by pirates in the nearby waters. We immediately sent special forces members to rescue.
I have been paying attention to the progress ahead in the rear. Although all of us are doing our work calmly, everyone's hearts are tied together. In a completely strange environment, no one knows which direction the bullet will come from. Every comrade in front is facing the danger of losing his life, but they still go without hesitation.
In our anxious wait, finally in the early hours of the hour after more than seven hours, they came to the news that they successfully completed the mission - successfully rescued 19 hostages. When I saw from the video sent back, the rescued hostage wearing a five-star red flag and shouting "Thank you, China!", I really felt a lot.
Now we can take a warship to sail thousands of miles away and make a contribution to the responsibility of a responsible big country to maintain world peace.
In the escort journey, there is also a very important task, which is to conduct military visits to countries along the way. Every time we rely on Hong Kong and are far away from the port, we can hear the sound of knocking on the shore and seeing the local Chinese and overseas Chinese holding a small red flag to pay tribute to us. Seeing these scenes from afar, tears can't stop flowing down.
The most impressive one should be in Madagascar. We invited local Chinese to visit the ship. An old overseas Chinese who was over 70 years old and full of white hair, stroking the warship with trembling hands, kept whispering in his mouth: "Great! This is the warship of the motherland, this is our Chinese warship."
He took my hand and said with tears in his eyes, seeing that the navy of the motherland is so strong, and seeing you so rich and vigorous, we have a lot of strength in the struggle. For the Chinese who have been wandering for a long time, the warships carry their thoughts on the motherland, and they are the roots they want to see. As a soldier, only by tempering one with a sincere heart can they be trusted.
After retiring from the army, I occasionally looked at the circle of friends and saw an old squad leader of the previous company sent a circle of friends. It was a letter that the squad leader wrote to a beloved party organization and his loved ones when he participated in a task with a very high risk factor a few years ago. After a lapse of two years, he reminded himself once again: don't forget his heart.
In fact, the most important point in the life of the army is to teach me a path. I must walk slowly and firmly. Therefore, I hope that I can seize the opportunity now, work hard to master the knowledge, become a more able person, and use my professional skills to help more people grow in the future.
A high-spirited ideal is always precious, but it is indeed more valuable and more practical to be able to reach out to the society on a down-to-earth basis.
I chose to use the way of being a soldier to see the bigger world I am looking for. In fact, everyone has more choices to see the world they want to see in the way they like and in their own way.

Moderator: Have you ever thought that you would become a soldier?
Song Wei: I wanted to be a soldier when I was in elementary school. There is a clear concept in junior high school: I want to be a special soldier. In order to be able to join the Marine Corps, I constantly add to myself for each training. For example, if I run slowly and I am small, I will run to a detachment and stand in the middle of a big man and let them run with me. When doing push-ups, call me and do it twice.
I will continue to give myself a small quality in the middle of the night, and I will try to climb the tactics under the barbed wire in the case of a knee injury. I step by step toward the standards of the Marines in my mind and work hard.
At the end of 2016, as the only female marine team member, I joined the 25th batch of escort formations of the Chinese Navy and went to the Gulf of Aden to carry out escort missions. I remember that it was in the evening of April. The formation received a notice that a merchant ship was hijacked by pirates in the nearby waters. We immediately sent special forces members to rescue.
I have been paying attention to the progress ahead in the rear. Although all of us are doing our work calmly, everyone's hearts are tied together. In a completely strange environment, no one knows which direction the bullet will come from. Every comrade in front is facing the danger of losing his life, but they still go without hesitation.
In our anxious wait, finally in the early hours of the hour after more than seven hours, they came to the news that they successfully completed the mission - successfully rescued 19 hostages. When I saw from the video sent back, the rescued hostage wearing a five-star red flag and shouting "Thank you, China!", I really felt a lot.
Now we can take a warship to sail thousands of miles away and make a contribution to the responsibility of a responsible big country to maintain world peace.
In the escort journey, there is also a very important task, which is to conduct military visits to countries along the way. Every time we rely on Hong Kong and are far away from the port, we can hear the sound of knocking on the shore and seeing the local Chinese and overseas Chinese holding a small red flag to pay tribute to us. Seeing these scenes from afar, tears can't stop flowing down.
The most impressive one should be in Madagascar. We invited local Chinese to visit the ship. An old overseas Chinese who was over 70 years old and full of white hair, stroking the warship with trembling hands, kept whispering in his mouth: "Great! This is the warship of the motherland, this is our Chinese warship."
He took my hand and said with tears in his eyes, seeing that the navy of the motherland is so strong, and seeing you so rich and vigorous, we have a lot of strength in the struggle. For the Chinese who have been wandering for a long time, the warships carry their thoughts on the motherland, and they are the roots they want to see. As a soldier, only by tempering one with a sincere heart can they be trusted.
After retiring from the army, I occasionally looked at the circle of friends and saw an old squad leader of the previous company sent a circle of friends. It was a letter that the squad leader wrote to a beloved party organization and his loved ones when he participated in a task with a very high risk factor a few years ago. After a lapse of two years, he reminded himself once again: don't forget his heart.
In fact, the most important point in the life of the army is to teach me a path. I must walk slowly and firmly. Therefore, I hope that I can seize the opportunity now, work hard to master the knowledge, become a more able person, and use my professional skills to help more people grow in the future.
A high-spirited ideal is always precious, but it is indeed more valuable and more practical to be able to reach out to the society on a down-to-earth basis.

Moderator: Have you ever thought that you would become a soldier?
Song Wei: I wanted to be a soldier when I was in elementary school. There is a clear concept in junior high school: I want to be a special soldier. When you go to high school, you will watch the "007" series of movies. After I went to college, the thought was hidden first, but the military camp dreams were always in my heart.
Moderator: What did you look like before entering the military camp?
Song Wei: At that time, I was curious about all kinds of things and liked to try. Regardless of the outcome, you will be very happy. But at the same time, every day, I will be chased by various homework, and I am not so active.
Moderator: After going out of the military camp, what changes have you made?
Song Wei: First of all, it may be that the requirements for things have increased, and at the same time, the sense of responsibility has also increased. I didn't realize what role I was in a group before, but now I always think about what I should do, what I need to do, and become more brave.
Moderator: How do you think that you are evaluating your "country 90"?
Song Wei: I think that for every 90s, as long as you have your own country in your heart, as long as you are patriotic, if you want to make a contribution to your country, as long as you have such a sense of responsibility, in fact everyone is a "national system."
Moderator: At 40 degrees Celsius in summer, wearing boots, what is the feeling of full clothing?
Song Wei: That was the time to practice in the summer. I am not a very disciplined person, I will be arrogant, so I will often punish. At first I couldn’t figure out why I was fined? Later, after reading the regulations, I realized that the role of these rules is to make the whole group more efficient. The military is obedient to the command of duty. Since he has chosen to be a soldier, he must first learn to behave.
Moderator: From campus to military camp and back to campus, what changes have been made to the understanding of military uniforms?
Song Wei: Wearing military uniforms means you have to take some responsibility. The sense of honor that the military uniform brings to me and the sense of security that is brought to others is not something I can think of before I can be a soldier. It is to be like the comrades-in-arms, to be down-to-earth and hard training, to have this feeling. "I used to be a soldier." The identity that this identity has given you may be lifelong. Whether you are a student now, or doing something else in the future, you must be able to do anything to do anything.
Moderator: How do you understand the three words "new youth"?
Song Wei: We are in a new era. Maybe every young person has his own new pursuit and new responsibility. This requires our love and persistence: love can make you bravely choose the career you want to choose, but insist that you can do this well before you can prove that you love it.
