The police will be charging him for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty and intentional harassment committed on board an aircraft, according to a Mar. 16, 2026, police news release.
This comes after the police were alerted on Feb. 9, 2026, at 4:27pm to the incident, where preliminary investigations revealed that, during the flight, the man allegedly touched the female cabin crew member inappropriately when she was serving the man near his seat.
The release noted that she immediately warned the man to stop touching her and proceeded to the galley to prepare for landing.
The man then followed her to the galley, where he allegedly continued harassing her by moving closer to her and cornering her in the confined space.

Following this, he will be charged for using criminal force on a person with the intent to outrage modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code 1871 read with Section 3 of Tokyo Convention Act 1971.
