REMBAU: A man lost his head in a gruesome accident when the car he was in crashed into a trailer at KM39.1 on Jalan Seremban-Tampin, here Friday.

In the 11am incident, R. Sivakumar, 39, who was driving a Proton Iswara was heading towards Seremban from Tampin.

A police spokesman said the incident occurred when the victim veered into the opposing traffic to overtake a line of vehicles.

"However, the victim's attempt failed when his car collided with a trailer coming from the opposite direction.

"His torso was pinned to his seat and his severed head flew out of the vehicle," he told Bernama.

He said the 23-year-old trailer driver did not suffer any injuries in the incident.

Meanwhile, Rembau district police chief DSP Mizan Md Dom confirmed the incident and said the victim's remains had been sent to Tampin Hospital near here. - Bernama
