As per reports, they were beaten up by an angry mob and were found hanging from a tree with their hands tied behind their backs and their mouth stuffed with a cloth. The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Muhammad Majloom and 15-year-old Azad Khan alias Ibrahim.

The killing of the Muslim men had created a stir, with the villagers alleging that they were previously also targeted by the assailants.
The case reminds of the lynching of a Muslim man Akhlaq in Dadri over consuming and storing beef.
