82-year-old grandmother claimed that the bus make a sharp turn, causing her to be thrown out from her sea. She suffered mulitple abrasions from the fall and hurt her nose and mouth that needed 17 stitches.
The incident occurred in this month on the 14th at 4 pm, Grandma Chen Lanqing took SMRT bus number 178 from Boon Lay to Woodlands to visit her daughter. The incident happended unexpectedly at 138, Bukit Batok West 8.
She told reporters that bus captain suddenly sped up before makeing the turn resulting in her falling from her.
"I was very nervous, did not know what hit me. I only knew that my nose, mouth were bleeding and my cheek, neck, arms and the whole body hurts."
Grandma laughed and said that if this happens to a 28-year-old, the girl will be disfigured and worried that she cannot get married.
SMRT is investigating the incident.

82岁阿嬷怒指巴士急转弯，害她被抛下座位，撞得满脸是血，全身多处擦伤，嘴鼻之间缝17针！
事件发生在本月14日下午4时许，阿嬷陈兰清当时搭SMRT178号巴士从文礼去兀兰找女儿，不料途经武吉巴督西8道第138座组屋时出事。
