Grand Seiko - good? why?

which GS model you looking at? Maybe I can offer suggestions.

I have not really look into which I like however I've seen a few here in Thailand's departmental stores, very limited choice, but those I really like looks veru classic and a little old for example there is one I like the face is not white but more like off white like colour of white lilies.

i guess if you were to pay less than SGD800, then its ok. Spending more than that for a Seiko is just too much money. There is this 1970s model now on ebay thailand

Rolex sports models are always in fashion, especially those in stainless steel. I thought the Paul Newman Daytona Ref is 6239?

no..theres 2 ...one is 6239 another is 6263 . different batch .

oh i see, thank you for clarifying.

I feel shameful to tell you I got no idea about ebay just know its like putting something there to sell and letting other bit but never know how it really work. Oh one more thing I not very comfortable in buying 2nd hand leh.

About the price $800 is definitely below the GS range.

nothing to be shameful of. You can browse ebay and see the range and asking price of a few GS models, just to know what is out there. For me, i wouldn't spend anything more than SGD800 for a Seiko. At the end of the day, its still just a Seiko. all the best in your hunt for your watch. cheers.

there is no way you can get GS in good condition for 800 sing dollars.bid price will rise when it is about to close.
