Cars kill 1.4 million people annually.
About 1.25 million only. Killed by cars, killed by illness, struck by lightning, choked on food, etc. They're all integral components of the circle of life. Now we can include "killed by PMDs" too.

The death toll from PMDs will always be lower than the car toll. That's why we all should switch to PMDs as soon as possible for the sake of future generations.

In sinkieland, I believe people will take PMDs more seriously when we have proper infrastructure and entrenched laws to ensure their safe usage. Also when safe batteries become mainstream. Until then, they remain the scourge of the earth.
