MUMBAI: Government of Singapore and Amansa Capital PTE Ltd today acquired a total of 21.88 lakh shares of media firm D B Corp in a deal worth Rs 44.86 crore through open market transactions.
As per the bulk deal data available with the BSE, Government of Singapore purchased 10.05 lakh shares of the D B Corp in a deal valued at Rs 20.61 crore.

1 lakh = 100,000

10.05 lakh shares = 1,005,000 shares

1.0 Indian Rupee = 0.0222191979677 Singapore Dollar

1 crore = 10 million = S$222,191

So Rs 20.61 crore = S$4.579 million.

GIC bought 1,005,000 shares costing S$4.579 million equivalent.
