Told my class mates coe is a VAT with an other VAT on top no body be lives. What free market my foot.

They titled it “Certicate of Entitlement”…entitlement to gahmen but money from you

Everyone can do their part by not going out that often, cooking and eating at home, and of course not patronising those malls

This is our journey to having a Swiss standard of living. Accept it and shut the fuck up.

They have achieved their market share?
In a typical month, 15-25% of the cars sold are from BYD.

If there is only a single distributor, such moves are likely because the distributor stocked up enough COE from earlier bids or open-cat COEs.

However, BYD has a few dealers.

It appeared to be an coordinated action by BYD dealers to bring COE price down. Doing so, they can either price their year-end cars competitively or trick competitors to bring down their guaranteed-coe prices (and lose money when COE rebounds strongly)

If this hypothesis is true, then the latest guaranteed-coe car prices will not drop more $12,000 and $16,000 for CAT & B respectively.

but one sector will defy the supply and demand dynamics:
A significant number of retrenchments leads to fewer employees, which should ideally result in higher salaries. However, salaries remain stagnant or, worse, may even decrease.

PAP allies all these manipulative practices?

These days, everything from food, movies, shopping, groceries, banking, work, teleconsultations with doctors and many forms of entertainment may be done online. We do not really need to leave home except for certain errands.
