On Fox News Sunday, Republican representative from Texas Louis Gohmert is telling host Chris Wallace that the solution to gun crime is more guns.

Claiming that the worst massacres in recent US history happened in places were guns were banned, Gohmert said the deaths in Newtown may not have happened if Dawn Hochsprung, principal at Sandy Hook Elementary School, had been armed:

Chris, I wish to God she had had an M4 in her office.

Every time laws were loosened to allow "concealed carry" of guns, crime went down, Gohmert claimed.

urban areas are reasonably safe in the u.s. except for small pockets of drug- and crime-infested ghettos filled with gangbangers. drive-by shooting and random killing of folks in the streets and at their doorsteps happen every day in at least a dozen cities. most of the victims are blacks and hispanics. the epidemic of killing (with illegal weapons) among these two ethnic groups has become so common and frequent that it's part of american life. and nobody in the world or on the national level talks or cares about these victims.

almost if not all the mass massacres so far by gunfire happen in suburbs, small towns and campuses and schools located in the suburbs or remote areas. and most of these victims are white. and the impacts become more shocking at the national level as they get full coverage by the msm 24x7 for weeks.
