Migrant worker distress call: 4 showers, 1 toilet for possibly 100 peopleAsiaOne

Who is the kaypo who want to spoil our ministry year end bonus? CSI him!

MOM allow them to come in but never check company background? :D

there's no distress. it's heart-fully, sympathetically, arduously, and specially constructed to make them feel at home......like back in their cesspit in their home cuntries.

If they're given decent housing the HDB flats are going to end up costing more to build which is not good for sinkies.

Those who campaign to improve the lot of the migrant workers are going to end up with even less in their CPF accounts. They should learn to just shut their traps and concentrate on their own welfare. After all charity begins at home. It's the Asian way.

just like certain religious sanctums, these bangalas will be rewarded with plots of farmland, stately palaces and 72 heads of virgin goats and cows when they return from their pilgrimage.their time in Singapore is merely their trial and tribulation.

that and a A4 size photo of themselves holding a sign saying i build a HDB in singapore.

I don't mind living like a refugee worker any where in the world for work but pay must be high enough for me to build and own two detached houses at home. Any takers?

This is marked improvement.....
They used to stay inside rubbish dump remember?

Migrant workers belong to the lowest caste. They deserve to stay in poor conditions, be cheated and exploited because of sins in their previous lives. By trying to improve on their living conditions, we are telling them that it is okay to sin since you would not be punished in the next life after reincarnation. There is also a problem of driving up costs for the rest of us. In any case, there's no shortage of low caste people. If they drop dead, import in more cheap labour.

despite using the cheapest labourers in the world, singapore still manages to be one of the top ten most expensive places in the world to own real estate with a pigeon hole costing over half a million.

at this rate we are going,if we keep up with PAP's policies and antics, soon sinkies will be living on mars where the only air available in bottled air in a can made in china.
