Imam Abdul Alim Musa, the Director of Masjid Al-Islam in Washington D.C., said in a Friday sermon that was uploaded to the As-Sabiqun DC YouTube channel on January 21, 2022, that the Colleyville, Texas synagogue hostage crisis was "arranged" by the Zionists in order to give Muslims a bad name. He said that 9/11 was also a Zionist plot, and he argued that Muslims do not have the ability to carry out such attacks. Abdul Alim Musa: "Just think, the other day some fellow that they call a Muslim had something go down in [Colleyville,] Texas. Now anyone who has been there more than two or three years has to know that that is stuff arranged by the Zionists.
