There have been several high profile cases of those in power escaping with a warning or slap on the wrists. Only time will tell if Woody still has enough influence to help his son out of this mess of his own making.

I understand his lawyer has adopted a very good strategy to win the case, if it goes to trial. This is why he appears so confident, and even Wooden shows the thumbs up.

According to the kopi auntie eavesdropping at the pantry of the law firm, the very good strategy is called "a swear challenge". They will challenge the prosecution to swear that the prosecutors "will die a violent death and their 18 generations of female offspring will become whores", if the defence can show that the defendant is not guilty as charged.

Obviously this guy has been abusing his position and privilege to make significant financial gains from market manipulation and scam. He is a qualified and trained doctor and MBA and he cannot say that he does not understand market insider rule
 
Ex PM Goh Chok Tong was very busy working for Singapore and never had the time to teach his son Goh Jin Hian. Hopefully Singapore prison can teach his son well inside the prison
