UFO enthusiasts fascinated with Indonesian crop circle

The appearance of crop circles in Sleman, Yogyakarta, has fascinated Indonesia's unidentified flying object (UFO) enthusiasts.

The community of enthusiasts, comprising approximately 1,200 people both from Indonesia and overseas, believed that the crop circle was created by extraterrestrial creatures and their UFOs.

"This phenomenon has never been seen before in Indonesia," Indonesian UFO Enthusiasts Community co-founder Nur Agustinus said Monday, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

Nur acknowledged, however, that there was a similar report of this phenomenon observed by a farmer in Tuban, East Java, a few years ago, but the report's credibility remained questionable.

"But this occurrence is the most obvious one," he added.

Comparing it to geometrical patterns in other countries, the shape of the Sleman crop circle is considered to be extraordinary. "It includes a block sized 60 by 70 meters," Nur said.

This UFO phenomenon has been widely discussed by UFO enthusiasts on the Internet, especially regarding the geometrical positions that are in line with wind direction.

The Beta-UFO Community has not yet found the meaning of the crop circle. This phenomenon, which was first seen in the 1970's in England, is still considered a mystery.

"The shapes never appear to be the same," he added
