yes, all huge land masses will find energy sources, not necessarily sweet crude oil, in some form or another. it could be fossilized solids to be fracked by water for natural gas, for example. or it could be less desirable shale oil that requires more refining to extract cleaner crude. with new discovery and extraction methods, the whole supply chain opens up new possibilities. the (over)supply of fossilized fuel plus natural gas is now longer a doubt, but a reality that's hurting opec cuntries. you can bet that china and brazil will double-down in the amazon basin to explore for more energy and fuel sources. and never ignore the african continent. there's fossilized shit all over, oops, under the continent waiting for joint ventures to tap it. just a decade ago, the north american continent was never a candidate for fossilized energy sources. but the introduction of fracking technology a decade ago has changed everything we know about fuel supply. after land masses, there's still much sea and oceanic patches to explore. of course, eventually, fossilized beds will run out, but that will be thousands of years away, not 53 years. for any trained geologists, they would know that the last 5 massive earth extinction events hundreds of million years ago produced and preserved fossilized beds so wide, varied and huge that current surviving species in terms of sheer numbers alone pale in comparison to the abundance of life in those epochs.

whatever assholes u open up deep in the amazon jungle where the most devastating virus and ebolas known to man lurk,it doesnt change the fact that all these energy sources are still finite.finite means limited, limited means finito one day.once u exhausted all the easy sources of energy, the cost of procuring the other harder to get sources of energy will be dramatically higher and this will result in high cost of living and total collapse of the economy.people will be robbing gas stations for gasoline and stabbing and ripping each other's guts out for high octance petrol mad max style.TAKE ME TO THE VALLEYS OF VALLHALALL!!!!!
and judging by how polluted and overcrowded and over constructed Singapore has become not to mention the hyper consumerism and levels of consumption, singaporeans will face a extinction event sooner rather than later.
